Value investing is in our DNA. The work is either a concentrated owners' process for Qualified Clients, or a low-cost passive sleeve with a few names we want to own.
Concentrated positions
Managing concentrated positions over years takes skill, but mostly it requires patience. Doing nothing is often the best thing. The Owners' Portfolio holds 0–7 stocks and uses no leverage.
Personal C.I.O.
Offered to individuals, families, and charity organizations. A relationship in which clients are asked to think of themselves as Owners of the businesses they hold.
Passive option
Orion Capital offers low-cost, passive management that is unique in several ways. We typically recommend a broad-based index coupled with a few select individual equities. These are companies with whom we enjoy being associated, and we support them with our investments. Each investment is hand-picked to add long-term shareholder value, thus increasing the opportunity for compounded returns.
Our Owners' Portfolio is a proprietary investment process hand-crafted from scratch. Our approach is dictated by the belief that our investors should consider themselves “Owners”. The companies we seek to invest in have withstood the test of time, and we appreciate their enduring competitive advantages. This Portfolio is available to Qualified Clients only.
